TESTIMONIALS

" I was an Irish dancer for 18 years and I was lucky enough to be apart of the MLS Irish dance family. I came into this family at the age of 16, and I was welcomed with open arms. I felt at home right away. I continued to dance until I was 22 years old. I have incredible memories because of Irish dance. Not only was I lucky enough to travel to Ireland, England, Scotland, and Canada, but I was able to do that with my MLS family. Debbie pushed me to my fullest potential and I reached goals I never thought I would! MLS has instilled in me that hard work will pay off in all aspects of life. My experience at Mulvihill-Lynch has taught me perseverance and dedication, which I now carry over into my everyday life. I will forever be apart of the Mulvihill-Lynch School family and I am so glad to say that! "

Mary Skaalerud, Occupational Therapist - Retired 2014

" Sending my girls to dance was one of the best decisions I could have made. They have made wonderful friends and I have met wonderful parents who I have stayed in contact with, even after the girls retired. There have been many laughs and memories I will always cherish."

Petula Cariello, Alexa and Kristin's Mom - Retired 2018

"Becoming a student at MLS has been an overall life changing experience for me. Starting at 9 years old, Debbie as well as the other teachers and friends I met along the way, have helped to shape me into the person I am today. I have learned so much about the art of Irish dance, as well as life skills such as discipline, patience, and the ability to be an independent woman. All of these skills helped me after I retired in 2018 to start college. I know they will continue to help me as I move forward in life. I wouldn't trade my experience at Mulvihill-Lynch for anything, and I cherish all the memories and lessons I have learned from all the wonderful people I have met. "

Alexa Cariello, Class of 2018 and SUNY Plattsburg student.

" Attending Mulvihill-Lynch were some of the most enjoyable, fun-filled and memorable years. I started dancing when I was 9 years old and danced for about 10 years. I have made life long friends throughout my years dancing and made the most amazing memories and had some of the best laughs. Irish dancing has shaped me into the person I am today, making me an independent, well mannered, disciplined and confident person. In 2018, I graduated from high school and retired from Irish dance and it was a tough decision. It was sad to say goodbye but to this day, I still have friends from dance and love to visit the studio to see Ms. Debbie, the other teachers, and all the dancers. "

Kristin Cariello, Class of 2018 and SUNY Plattsburg student.

" I started dancing in the summer of 2005 for Ms. Debbie and graduated in 2018. Through my competition years, Ms. Debbie and my other instructors would always go out of their way to helpme become the best dancer I could be. Even through all my injuries my instructors never gave up on me. Mulvihill-Lynch became my second home and I was always looking forward to going to my next class. Between the instructors, and my friends, everyone became my family. I've met some of my life long friends here. I absolutely loved dancing here and try to return as much as possible to see everyone as well as take some classes to keep up my dancing. "

Shannon Roder, Salve Regina University student and 2018 graduate.

" During my years at Mulvihill-Lynch, I learned not only how to dance, but also how to be self-assured, be respectful, and work hard. I was not confident in myself, but Debbie and the instructors encouraged me for years, and as a result, I was able to achieve my goals. MLS gave me amazing friends and my fondest memories. "

Colleen Swift, Penn State student and class of 2018 graduate.
